The Vanzago WWF reserve belongs to a system of protected areas created by WWF throughout Italy with the aim of conserving rare ecosystems, areas of exceptional naturalistic value and habitats for endangered animals.

Cascina Gabrina is located right in the middle of one of these oases: the WWF promoted activities and events in which it participates are aimed at protecting this area, which is a real oasis in the desert, where wild nature still finds space, despite its proximity to the metropolis of Milan.

Every tree, lawn or pond here acts as a safe home to birds, mammals and invertebrates, thanks to the daily work of WWF men and women who spread the culture of and the love for nature to adults and children with dedication.
